1. 304 stainless steel
Characteristics: 304 stainless steel is one of the most common and widely used stainless steel materials. It has good corrosion resistance and heat resistance, as well as excellent low-temperature strength and mechanical properties. In addition, 304 stainless steel exhibits excellent performance in hot working processes such as stamping and bending, and there is no heat treatment hardening phenomenon. In addition, its extremely low carbon content makes it more advantageous in specific application scenarios.

3. 316 stainless steel
Features: 316 stainless steel has added molybdenum element on the basis of 304 stainless steel, which makes it excellent in corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance, and high temperature strength. At the same time, 316 stainless steel also has excellent work hardening properties and is non-magnetic, making it widely used in many fields such as seawater equipment, chemical industry, photographic equipment, etc.
Application: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, 316 stainless steel is particularly suitable for marine environments and highly corrosive media.
4. 316L stainless steel
Features: 316L stainless steel is a low-carbon version of 316 stainless steel, inheriting all the advantages of 316 stainless steel and exhibiting better resistance to grain boundary corrosion. This type of steel is particularly suitable for products with strict requirements for resistance to grain boundary corrosion, such as certain specific chemical equipment and marine environmental components.
Application: Similar to 316 stainless steel, but due to its lower carbon content and better resistance to grain boundary corrosion, 316L stainless steel occupies an important position in high-end valve manufacturing.
5. Other stainless steel materials
In addition to the common stainless steel materials mentioned above, other types of stainless steel materials such as 321 stainless steel may also be used in the valve industry. These materials each have their own characteristics and are suitable for different working conditions and medium conditions.
